Principal Architect

We are seeking a Principal Architect (Multi-domain) to be embedded with our aviation customer, working across their full technology stack to design and deliver scalable cloud, data and AI solutions. You will partner closely with the customer's technical and business stakeholders to architect enterprise-grade systems that address complex challenges across multiple domains within their airline operations. This is a fully remote role offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving transformational technology initiatives for a leading aviation organisation.

Required Experience:

8+ years of experience as a solutions architect or principal architect with demonstrated expertise across multiple technology domains

Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and their application in enterprise aviation or transportation contexts

Strong background in data architecture and AI/ML solution design with proven track record of delivery

Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience working embedded with customer organisations or in customer-facing technical leadership roles

Key responsibilities & duties include:

Lead the design and architecture of multi-domain solutions spanning cloud infrastructure, data platforms and AI capabilities tailored to the customer's aviation operations

Work with the customer's engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures and implementation strategies

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the customer's development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices

Drive technology decisions and recommendations across the full stack, balancing scalability, performance, security and cost considerations

Engage with the customer's stakeholders to understand evolving business needs and continuously refine architectural approaches

Oversee the integration of cloud, data and AI components to create cohesive platforms that enhance airline operations

Desirable Experience:

Prior experience working within the aviation, airline or travel industry

Familiarity with airline operational systems, crew management platforms or passenger-facing applications

Track record of successfully leading digital transformation initiatives
