Pre-Award: PdM RGCS Logistician
Barbaricum is seeking a Logistician for the anticipated Product Manager Robotic and Autonomous Systems (PdM RGCS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The Logistician maintains comprehensive property accountability for the PdM RGCS CLS effort at Fort Leonard Wood, managing inventory, documentation, shipping, and disposal of all RGCS equipment, spare parts, and tools. Operating primarily in the Army Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), the role ensures robotic systems and repair parts are tracked, serviceable, and available to support fielding, training, and sustainment worldwide, and maintains the warehouse and grounds that house them.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and Property Accountability: Receive, issue, ship, and document all RGCS equipment, spare parts, and tools in the APSR; conduct monthly and 100% inventories as required.
Maintain accurate records of Class VII, Class II, and Class IX property and conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories as required.
Create, maintain, and update hand receipts, and issue DA 2062 for equipment leaving the general area.
Documentation and Fielding Support: Prepare and manage fielding documentation (DA 3161, DA 2062) and verify the accuracy of unit documentation for contractual and regulatory compliance.
Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate all shipping and receiving of parts and equipment, including obtaining transportation cost estimates, coordinating with the Government shipping office, and documenting any damage.
Provide In-Transit Visibility (ITV) for all shipments; create and submit shipping documents (e.g., DD 1149) and generate labels via the Government shipping rate account.
Facilitate Direct Exchange (DX) of non-repairable items to units worldwide.
HAZMAT and Disposal: Certify HAZMAT shipments as required; oversee demilitarization and turn-in of obsolete or economically non-repairable equipment; and manage HAZMAT disposal in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Condition-Code Management: Coordinate with the Site Manager on semiannual inspections and ensure the accuracy of condition codes for all items of record.
Facility Support: Maintain facilities and grounds, including general cleaning, groundskeeping (grass cutting, snow removal), and key control.
Global Deployment: Be prepared to travel or deploy to CONUS and OCONUS locations as necessary to support mission requirements.
Qualifications:
Must have and maintain at least a Secret level security clearance.
Qualified Army 920A/920B, 92A/92Y, 68J, or other-service equivalent supply-field qualification.
Proficiency using an APSR (e.g., DPAS) and Excel for property accountability, with a strong understanding of military property accountability procedures.
Ability to obtain or possess an OSHA Forklift Certification and a Government Operator permit (OF 346).
Ability to obtain licenses for a John Deere 450 Long Track (LT) dozer, Bobcat T250 skid steer, and forklifts (15k and below), plus a Fort Leonard Wood Range Safety Certification.
AMMO-62 (Technical Transportation of HAZMAT) certification, or the ability to attend and pass the course.
Experience coordinating and executing CONUS and OCONUS shipments via civilian and military transportation modes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex logistics operations effectively.
