Barbaricum is seeking a EOD Trainer Maintenance Technician for the anticipated Product Manager Robotic and Autonomous Systems (PdM RGCS) Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. The EOD Trainer Maintenance Technician performs a combination of Senior Trainer and Trainer Maintenance Technician duties with a specialized focus on RGCS platforms employed by Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and route-clearance formations. Serving as the program's EOD subject-matter expert, the role ensures EOD-focused robotic training, fielding, and maintenance are executed effectively in support of PdM RGCS.

Key Responsibilities:

EOD Subject-Matter Expertise: Serve as the EOD SME for supported RGCS platforms, providing expert guidance during New Materiel In-Briefs (NMIBs), In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), and related events.

Assist the Senior Trainer and Site Manager in planning and delivering internal EOD-focused robotic training in accordance with the POI/TSP.

Training and Instruction: Prepare and oversee pitchbacks of EOD-focused POIs by other Trainer Maintenance Technicians, and conduct OPNET and FLMNET new equipment training in accordance with the POI/TSP, covering operations, operator maintenance, PMCS, troubleshooting, and installation.

Maintenance and Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair for RGCS systems used by EOD and route-clearance units; conduct QA checks at TPF events; and prepare trip reports, estimates, and CDRL/Actual Cost Memo inputs.

Event Support: Support the preparation, execution, and follow-up of EOD-related fielding and training events, ensuring all equipment and personnel are ready and properly trained.

General TMT Duties: Perform all Trainer Maintenance Technician duties, including NET delivery, fielding prep, inventories, semiannual inspections, and customer assistance as needed.

Global Deployment: Be prepared to travel or deploy to CONUS and OCONUS locations as necessary to support mission requirements.

Qualifications:

Must have and maintain at least a Secret level security clearance.

Minimum of six (6) years of experience since 2000 in the maintenance and training of fielded military equipment.

At least two (2) years serving as a certified military equipment instructor, with completion of an approved instructor course such as FIFC, ABIC, or ITC.

Past military experience as an Army EOD Technician (e.g., MOS 89D) or equivalent in another service branch.

Experience with EOD or route-clearance operations and the ground robotic systems those formations employ.

Trained and qualified, or able to become qualified, to instruct and perform maintenance on supported RGCS equipment.

Capable of teaching, coaching, and mentoring instructors on EOD-focused robotic systems.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and lead training sessions effectively.
