Pre-Award: MXM- Model Based Systems Engineer II
Barbaricum is seeking an Model Based Systems Engineer II to directly support the anticipated Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Model Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM). Code MXM's mission is mission engineering analysis and assessment of complex Naval, DoD, and joint kill chains — with a specialized focus on Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) enabled analysis. As a Model Based Systems Engineer II, you will apply MBSE methodologies, frameworks, and tools in support of Code MXM's mission engineering capability development — this is the largest single labor category on the effort. You will develop and manage requirements and verification methodologies within system models and support the creation and management of MBSE artifacts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply expert knowledge of MBSE methodologies and frameworks and expertise in MBSE tools.
Develop and manage requirements and verification methodologies within system models.
Use system models to identify subassemblies, interfaces, functions, environments, and software/firmware requirements.
Support creation of SETR artifacts and MBSE meta-chain report templates.
Support data management (DM) and configuration management (CM) of MBSE artifacts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active DoD SECRET clearance (minimum); U.S. citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
Expert knowledge of MBSE methodologies and frameworks and expertise in MBSE tools.
Proficiency in UML (Universal Modeling Language).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (preferred education per the labor category).
Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Rational Rhapsody, DOORS, and Teamwork Cloud.
