Part-Time Lobby Officer
$17.50 Per Hour | Part Time | South Florida
Shift: Morning/Afternoon

Marksman Security is seeking a dependable, alert, and service-driven Part-Time Lobby Officer to provide front-desk coverage at our corporate campus. This role calls for professionalism, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to keeping people and property safe.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and employees at the lobby desk with a professional, welcoming demeanor
Operate access control systems to issue and verify credentials
Deter misconduct and respond to alarms, calls of distress, or emergencies by contacting police, fire departments, and/or local emergency response teams
Make periodic patrols of the lobby and surrounding areas to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, and unauthorized persons
Prepare clear, concise, and accurate incident reports
Utilize a computer for incident reports, security software applications, and email
Manage multiple tasks, execute radio and telephone communications, and perform in a high-pressure environment
Perform other duties as determined by the security supervisor
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one or any reasonable combination of the following:
Two years of customer service experience
One year of security experience
Law enforcement experience
Corrections experience
Military experience
Requirements
Valid FL Security D License
Valid FL Driver's License
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Technology skills: operate access control systems, utilize a computer for incident reports, operate security software systems or applications, use email
Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor, and appearance
Experience managing multiple tasks, executing radio and telephone communications, and performing in a medium to high pressure environment with frequently changing and/or competing demands
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Above-average written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with client staff and the public
Trained in CPR and First Aid preferred
