Operations Analyst (Analista de Operaciones) - Bogotá (Hybrid)

What you'll do

We're looking for an Operations Analyst to provide crucial foundational support for our daily fintech operations, helping us scale efficiently and maintain regulatory compliance. This entry-level position is designed for someone eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced fintech environment, playing a key role in continuous process improvement and smooth business execution.

Manage daily operational tasks and ensure the seamless execution of processes, utilizing platforms like Slack and Google Drive to coordinate across teams.

Assist in critical onboarding procedures, including KYC, KYB, and AML checks, ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Execute data entry and maintain accurate operational systems, records, and documentation.

Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and recommend actionable changes to streamline and automate operations.

Assist in generating reports related to operational performance and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), escalating concerns or delays to senior team members as needed.

Collaborate cross-functionally to provide operational support to departments such as customer service, risk, and finance, ensuring issues are resolved and workflows remain efficient.

Must haves

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in spreadsheet formulas (filters, tables, pivot tables) and the ability to create and manage clear presentations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Adaptability to fast-changing environments and a strong willingness to learn.

Experience or interest in using AI tools to automate and improve workflows.

Nice to haves

Prior experience in administrative roles, customer service, or operational tasks.

Basic knowledge of financial regulations and internal compliance policies.

Independent analytical skills using spreadsheets, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools like Metabase.
