ABOUT THE TEAM:

You’ll join a team of 4 engineers based in Vilnius, building and evolving a highly scalable, cloud-native platform that underpins all of our web crawling and other capabilities. The team owns a complex, multi-component system running fully in AWS cloud, including an in-house framework developed internally and a large-scale identity management platform.

The systems are designed to operate at significant scale, supporting thousands of crawler instances running concurrently and processing up to billions of data points every month. The team focuses heavily on system design, optimisation, and scalability, and is currently working on redesigning the system and building core components from scratch to support both internal users and external integrations. This is an engineering-led team with strong ownership over architecture, performance, and long-term platform evolution.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using cloud-native and serverless patterns

Build and operate event-driven and message-based systems to handle high-throughput data flows

Develop containerised services

Work with data platforms using SQL, supporting ingestion, transformation, and delivery use cases

Own services in production, including deployment, monitoring, observability, and reliability

Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical direction and best practices

Identify and address technical debt, performance issues, and operational risks

Collaborate closely with other engineers, sharing knowledge and raising engineering standards

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Several years’ experience building and operating production backend systems

Strong experience with C# / .NET

Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational or analytical databases

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, others welcome)

Experience designing or working with distributed or event-driven systems

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows

Strong understanding of clean code, testing, and software engineering best practices

Comfortable working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar)

Fluent in English.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING THAT WOULD BE GREAT:

Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tools

Familiarity with  Snowflake, Databricks, or modern data platforms

Experience with monitoring and observability tools

Interest in data-intensive or analytics-driven products.

WE WILL OFFER YOU:

🚀            A progressive, non-hierarchical culture where innovation drives everything we build

🏡            Flexible working arrangements that allow remote work or office attendance

💰            An attractive compensation and benefits package, including private health insurance from day one of   joining, a company bonus scheme and company pension scheme
