What You’ll Do
Review business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and expected results
Execute functional, integration, regression, conversion, and end-to-end testing
Support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Validate front-to-back workflows across trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, messaging, and accounting
Prepare, validate, and maintain test data for functional and integration testing
Coordinate with technical teams to support test-environment setup, configuration, and readiness
Perform data validation and reconciliation across source systems, trading platforms, and downstream applications
Validate interfaces, scheduled tasks, batch processes, reports, messages, and accounting outputs
Record test results and maintain requirements-to-test traceability
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira and Xray or comparable tools
Participate in defect-triage sessions and provide clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and impact analysis
Work with business analysts, developers, and functional teams to investigate and resolve defects
Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing to confirm system stability
Support automated test execution and continuous integration processes where applicable
Assist with performance, security, and operational-readiness testing
Prepare test-execution reports, evidence packages, and readiness documentation
Communicate progress, blockers, defects, dependencies, and risks to the QA Lead and project stakeholders
Follow established testing standards, quality controls, and project-governance processes
Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and overall product quality
What You Bring
Hands-on experience testing capital-markets or financial-services applications
Strong understanding of front-to-back trade-processing workflows
Knowledge of financial products and the trade lifecycle
Strong knowledge of software-testing principles, methodologies, and lifecycle processes
Experience creating test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and supporting evidence
Experience with functional, integration, regression, conversion, and end-to-end testing
Experience supporting System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
Experience validating interfaces, batch processes, scheduled tasks, reports, and downstream outputs
Strong data-validation and reconciliation skills
Working knowledge of SQL for test-data analysis and backend validation
Experience using Jira and Xray or comparable test- and defect-management tools
Understanding of defect lifecycles, severity classifications, triage, escalation, and resolution tracking
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with QA, development, functional, and business teams
Nice to have
Experience testing Calypso implementations
Familiarity with front-to-back Calypso workflows
Experience with the Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT)
Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with position-conversion or data-migration testing
Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, collateral management, or accounting workflows
Experience working within a highly regulated banking environment
