Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)

LTS is seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) to provide software packaging, application deployment, and systems administration support for a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position requires strong technical attention to detail, a commitment to operational excellence, and the ability to work effectively within a complex enterprise environment.
What You'll Do:
Focus on the preparation, configuration, testing, validation, and deployment of application packages using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) across laboratory, testing, and production environments
Support application delivery across virtualized and multi-session environments
Ensure applications are packaged and deployed securely, reliably, and in accordance with established enterprise standards
Play a critical role in maintaining dependable application delivery across the VA enterprise
Directly support mission-critical systems used by VA employees and healthcare providers nationwide
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline, or a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience
4–7+ years of system administration experience with strong SCCM/MECM skills
Proven track record in demanding, customer service-oriented environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of MSI/MST packaging concepts and the ability to perform package reviews
PowerShell knowledge (automation, troubleshooting, scripting)
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot SCCM deployment logs
Experience with VMware vSphere, multi-session environments, and Windows OS internals
Certifications such as Microsoft MECM, MD-102/MD-104, VMware VCP, Azure Fundamentals, or Security+
Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Azure services
Experience working with federal government clients, especially the VA
Experience in collaborating with testers and packagers
Strong working knowledge of Active Directory
Demonstrated experience in a remote work environment
Ability to obtain government Public Trust Clearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
