The Opportunity:

The Manager, Commercial Executive Operations, Europe serves as a trusted operational and administrative partner to the Senior Vice President (SVP), Europe and the European Leadership Team (CARE – Culture, Access, Results, Europe) while leading day-to-day operation of Revolution Medicines' European Headquarter in Basel. This role provides  executive support,  oversees site operations, and coordinates cross-functional initiatives  to   enhance team effectiveness, foster site-wide alignment  and co-create an exceptional employee experience with senior leaders.

The role also serves as the coordinating lead for the Commercial administrative community in Europe, driving best practices, consistent ways of working and strong collaboration among  administrative team members supporting leaders across the European markets.

Key responsibilities include:

As the operations partner/ lead administrative support to the SVP, Europe and European Leadership Team, this role enables leadership effectiveness through proactive coordination, executive support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Manage the SVPs and teams complex global calendar, strategically balancing competing priorities, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts, and ensuring executive readiness across global time zones.

Coordinate leadership engagement across CARE and the markets by partnering with administrative team members and cross-funtional stakeholders to optimize scheduling, meeting effectiveness, and organizational alignment.

Lead the planning and execution of executive travel, leadership meetings, off-sites, employee gatherings and events, including logistics, follow-up, and action item tracking.

Coordinate special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the SVP and CARE.

Manage consulting agreements, statements of work, purchase requests, and vendor engagements in partnership with Legal, Procurement, and Finance related to European Region.

Build trusted partnerships across the organization while handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.

Partner with country administrative team members and business leaders to develop, implememt, and continuously improve administrative support models, workflows, and cross-functional operating practices.

Support onboarding, integration, and capability development of functional administrative team members by providing guidance, tools, resources, and best practices.

Serve as a resource to the European and Global commercialization administrative community, fostering knowledge sharing, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Participate in the corporate administrative community, build strong partnerships and advance collaboration across administrative teams.

Lead operational readiness of the Basel office, serving as the primary contact for building management, workplace service providers, and facilities vendors.

Oversee day-to-day office operations, including workplace services, access management, conference room technology, mail services, office supplies, food and beverage programs, and other workplace resources.

Manage vendor relationships and service delivery to ensure seamless workplace experience.

Identify and implement improvements to workplace experience, operational efficiency, and office scalability.

Partner with HR, Facilities, EHS, Corporate Communications, and the broader administrative community to support office space planning, employee onboarding, workplace communications, and employee engagement initiatives.

Manage office operating  budgets, maintain operational records, and documentation, and monitor workplace-related expenditures as appropriate.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8+ years of progressively responsible experience providing executive support to senior leaders and/or leading workplace operations within a fast-paced environment.

Experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams within a matrixed regional organization, including complex regional calendar management, travel planning, and meeting coordination.

Experience with setting up and managing brand new office operations, workplace services, facilities vendors, or corporate office environments.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple competing priorities, exercise sound judgment and discretion, anticipate needs, identify risks, and proactively implement solutions.

Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to drive execution of cross-functional initiatives.

Strong business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across functions, levels, and external partners.

Able to handle highly confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel.

Preferred Skills:

Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience.

Experience establishing or supporting operations for a growing office location or regional hub.

Experience with contract management, procurement processes, budget tracking, and vendor administration.

Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.
