Logistics Supervisor
Job Overview
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end daily handover from Fulfillment to last mile, ensuring all routes are dispatched on time and all operational issues are resolved quickly. This role leads the Logistics team during the shift, drives performance through real-time decision-making, and serves as the primary point of coordination between Fulfillment operations, last-mile carriers, and 3PL partners. The Logistics Supervisor uses tools such as Tableau, Google Sheets, Slack, and internal logistics systems to monitor operations and hold the team accountable to key metrics.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the Logistics team during the shift, ensuring all responsibilities are executed accurately and on time.
Provide clear guidance and real-time support to team members, resolving blockers and escalating issues to management when needed.
Monitor team performance and hold members accountable to daily execution standards.
Train team members on logistics workflows, SOPs, and best practices.
Prepare end-of-shift reports covering key metrics, incidents, and resolutions.
Start each shift by reviewing the previous day's logistics metrics, including FFM-to-last-mile handover timeliness and overall delivery delays.
Review the supervisor count from the final hour of FFM operations to assess capacity and anticipate its impact on last-mile handover.
Adjust and push driver pickup times when FFM is behind schedule; fine-tune pickup times when FFM is on track to optimize delivery window performance.
Confirm all orders have been assigned in the Logistics Service.
Identify and resolve or escalate any orders with integration errors.
Complete and enforce the daily audit checklist to confirm handover readiness across all routes.
Confirm all routes are ready for handover and have been picked up.
Oversee cart-to-truck and pallet-to-truck loading.
Track middle-mile truck arrivals to ensure on-time dispatch.
Ensure the full end-to-end handover process runs smoothly and on time.
Troubleshoot driver issues in real time, including scanning problems, missing or damaged bags, and product replacement.
Identify and resolve route coverage gaps as they arise.
Define and manage pickup schedules for 3PL partners based on route distance and mileage.
Coordinate with 3PLs on pickup times and driver changes.
Manage 3PL no-shows by ensuring affected routes are covered or reassigned.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of food quality and service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
Experience in operating a pallet jack preferred
Proficiency in Google Sheets; familiarity with Tableau and communication tools such as Slack and Gmail.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to push and pull up to 200 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including cold storage and refrigerated areas.
Ability to move quickly and safely between the loading dock, warehouse floor, and office areas.

Compensation
All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Pay Range for this position
$25—$27 USD
