Localization Intern, Brazilian Portuguese Speaking

About the Role
As a bilingual Localization Intern, you will play an integral role in supporting our Product department by providing exemplary work utilizing your technical acumen and bilingual skillsets. This role will report to our Localization Manager and will be mentored by other members of the Keeper team. This is a Fall/Winter internship with the possibility of extension, contingent on company needs and performance.
This is a paid internship designed to offer professional experience. Please note that we do not offer school credit for this internship.
Responsibilities
Translate technical and marketing content from English to Portuguese, including UI text, documentation, help articles and marketing materials related to the Keeper Security suite of products in native level Portuguese
Use CAT and AI tools to create, update and maintain translation consistency, internal style guides, templates, and terminology glossaries across projects
Perform quality assurance checks on translations for accuracy, clarity, tone, and cultural appropriateness
Maintain and update terminology glossaries and style guides for the Portuguese language
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to gather information and ensure documentation reflects current product features
Assist in developing, producing, and editing end-user training videos and materials related to the Keeper Security suite of products in Portuguese
Provide feedback on source English content to improve localizability
Requirements
Must be bilingual, native or proficient level Brazilian Portuguese and English proficiency (written and spoken)
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Experience localizing software products or marketing content using different tools
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, including time-sensitive assignments, in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of technical concepts (e.g., software development, APIs, cloud platforms, web applications, databases) with the ability to learn new software quickly
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Basic proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
