As an IT Operations Engineer within our Corporate IT team, you'll play an important role in keeping our technology environment running smoothly and efficiently. You'll respond to incidents, optimise systems and infrastructure, contribute to automation initiatives and work closely with teams across the business to deliver reliable technology solutions. What you’ll own

Engineer, maintain and continuously improve enterprise IT platforms, infrastructure and workplace technologies

Provide Level 2/3 operational support for incidents, service requests and complex technical issues

Design and implement automation using scripting, APIs and AI to improve operational efficiency and employee experience

Identify recurring operational problems and implement long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes

Monitor platform health, identify risks and proactively improve system reliability and performance

Partner with People Operations, Security and business stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable technology solutions

Lead or contribute to infrastructure, endpoint, SaaS and workplace technology projects

Maintain high-quality technical documentation, knowledge articles and operational standards

Mentor junior Service Desk analysts and contribute to developing team capability

Strong experience supporting enterprise IT Operations across Microsoft, Apple and cloud environments

Hands-on experience with Google, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Jamf and enterprise SaaS platforms

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN and wireless networking

Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash or APIs

Experience administering ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow or similar

Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, identity, collaboration platforms and infrastructure

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong customer focus

A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn, and grow

An aptitude for identifying and managing risks, understanding that we are all leaders at Zip
