Who you'll work with

We're looking for motivated, self-starting engineers who want to grow their skills by solving complex, challenging problems across the healthcare continuum. You'll join a team that values curiosity, ownership, and trying new approaches. You'll report to a Software Engineering Manager and work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps.

Take on hard problems and own them end to end, from requirements to production

Debug and resolve issues across distributed systems

Build with reliability, scalability, and security in mind

Automate repetitive work through tooling and scripting

Review teammates' code and have them review yours

Join sprint ceremonies and the team's on-call rotation

Use AI coding assistants as part of your daily work

What we're looking for

3+ years of professional software development

Strong Java, including Spring

Experience building REST APIs

Solid SQL and relational database experience

Experience writing automated tests

Some front-end experience

Comfort with Git-based workflows and code review

A drive to learn and the initiative to move work forward without being asked

Nice to have

Authentication and identity standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML)

Containers and container orchestration

CI/CD pipelines and build automation, on any toolchain

Cloud platforms, especially Azure

Infrastructure as code

Observability: logging, metrics, and dashboards

Scripting for automation

Linux and networking fundamentals

Experience on a SaaS product

Production support or on-call experience

What success looks like

You deliver working, tested code that solves real problems

You pick up unfamiliar areas of the system and go deep on your own

You take on bigger, more ambiguous problems over time

You build trusted working relationships with peers and partners

You're comfortable with the discomfort of learning new things, and you bring fresh ideas

Don't meet every bullet? Apply anyway.
