Role Overview

The Immigration Specialist provides both strategic direction and hands-on management of immigration matters in the Netherlands and internationally. Working closely with employees, internal teams and external immigration providers, you will ensure every case is handled accurately, efficiently and in line with local regulatory requirements.

This role has a strong focus on governance, compliance and risk mitigation, alongside delivering a responsive, high-quality experience for employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end immigration processes in close coordination with external immigration service provider, from case initiation and document collection through filing, approval and case closure.

Provide clear guidance to employees and internal stakeholders throughout each case, acting as the primary point of contact and resolving issues promptly.

Monitor changes to immigration law, policy and process, translating new requirements into practical guidance and ensuring external partners remain aligned.

Coordinate immigration processes across multiple global locations, promoting consistency while meeting local legal and regulatory requirements.

Track immigration milestones, document requirements and deadlines to support timely and compliant submissions.

Maintain complete and accurate case records and data in JIRA and hiBob.

Build strong working relationships with immigration advisors, attorneys and other regional providers, monitoring service quality, driving accountability and identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Partner with HR, Legal and other internal teams to identify risks, improve processes and support sound immigration decisions.

Oversee the processing of invoices from external immigration providers, ensuring accuracy, proper allocation, and timely payment in line with internal finance procedures.

Track program performance through KPIs, reporting, employee/stakeholder feedback and cost analysis to drive continuous improvement and greater effectiveness.

Key Qualifications & Experience

Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end immigration cases in Netherlands, preferably gained through a combination of consultancy and industry placements.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities at the same time.

Significant experience and understanding of immigration best practices and processes, with the ability to respond to changing regulations, unexpected delays and urgent situations.

Experience working across multiple countries and cultures, with excellent communication skills
