What You’ll Do

Provide guidance on employment law, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and Uzbekistan Labor Code compliance.

Monitor legislative changes and proactively update internal HR policies and processes accordingly.

Serve as the company’s legal signatory and authorized representative in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Ensure corporate actions, financial documents, and payroll records are executed in accordance with the Uzbekistan Labor Code and applicable corporate law to mitigate organizational and personal liability.

Register, update, and terminate employment contracts through the my.mehnat.uz portal.

Record employee changes, including transfers, promotions, salary changes, position changes, and leave records.

Verify, update, and maintain electronic labor books for all personnel.

Align and update the company’s organizational structure and positions within the government database.

Generate compliance reports and documentation to support internal audits and state labor inspections.

Review and approve employee payroll, payroll taxes, social contributions, insurance payments, and foreign-currency salary payments.

Review and sign payroll statements, timesheets, leave documentation, and related payroll records.

Liaise with servicing banks to manage corporate banking documentation, employee bank card administration, and banking security credentials.

Coordinate payroll payments, foreign-currency transfers, and other company payments.

Review and approve invoices, acts of completed work, and other accounting documents submitted by suppliers via Didox.

Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely submission, verification, and processing of invoices and supporting documentation.

Maintain the company’s IT Park residency status.

Represent the company at meetings and working sessions held by IT Park and the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports and other information requested by IT Park and the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Uzbekistan office, ensuring an efficient, compliant, and well-functioning working environment.

Coordinate with landlords, office service providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support office operations, business continuity, and local corporate initiatives.

What You Bring

5+ years of relevant experience across HR administration, compliance, and local business operations.

Strong knowledge of Uzbekistan labor legislation and statutory employment requirements.

Hands-on experience with Uzbekistan employment administration and government HR systems, including my.mehnat.uz and electronic labor records.

Experience coordinating with government authorities, banks, external service providers, and vendors.

Experience with regulatory reporting and maintaining documentation required for audits and government inspections.

Demonstrated experience and comfort in holding legal signatory authority, acting as a company representative before government authorities, and assuming responsibility for legal and financial compliance.

High level of ownership and attention to detail.

Ability to independently manage multiple HR, compliance, financial-administrative, and operational priorities.

Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, government authorities, banks, vendors, and external service providers.

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
