Growth Lead
About the role
We're hiring a Growth Lead to own acquisition growth end-to-end for one of our categories (e.g. weight loss, hair loss, sexual health, or TRT) within one of our brands. You'll be the owner of new-patient acquisition for your category, accountable for how much new revenue we generate and at what cost.
Think of this as running the acquisition engine for a mini-business. You set the strategy, you own the number, and you have a dedicated creative pod plus central buying, CRM and analytics teams executing alongside you. You'll spend against a meaningful budget, run a high tempo of experiments in partnership with our Director of CRO, and be judged on results, not activity.
This role suits someone with strong commercial and creative instincts who is highly analytical, takes real ownership, and wants to move fast in a category they can make their own. The scope is deliberately broad, you'll touch creative, channels, landing pages, pricing inputs and measurement, and you'll have the coaching and resources to grow quickly.
What you'll own
The category acquisition number. You own Net New Revenue for your category at a target CAC. You set the plan, forecast spend and new-patient volume, and manage the budget to hit it.
Growth strategy and channel mix. You decide where and how we spend to grow the category. Central media buying (paid search and paid social) runs execution against the CAC/ROAS targets you set, you own the strategy and the outcome, they own the delivery. Channel CAC is owned jointly with your buyers.
Creative direction. You direct a dedicated creative pod (creative strategist, producer, editor/designer). You brief the concepts, angles and hooks, run a high volume of creative tests, and double down on what scales. Winning creative is your single biggest lever.
The funnel to purchase. You own the journey from ad to landing page to order, partnering with the CRO on landing-page-to-order conversion experiments.
An always-on experiment roadmap. You run a continuous cycle of hypotheses, tests and readouts across creative, channels, funnel and offer. Beyond executing the standard playbook, you're expected to find several new scalable growth strategies each cycle.
Measurement partnership. You work with Marketing Analytics on attribution, incrementality testing and data-driven bidding (ROAS, pLTV) so decisions are grounded in a single, trusted view of performance.
Acquisition nurture and proposition. You brief CRM on acquisition journeys, and take the proposition and offers built by the Proposition/Brand team to market, feeding back what resonates.
Acquisition quality, not just volume. You partner with Retention so the patients you bring in are the right ones, protecting early retention and cohort quality rather than buying cheap volume that churns.
The cadence. You run your category in the weekly growth business review, translating the strategy into weekly actions and longer-term projects with clear owners and outcomes.
What we're looking for
~5–7 years in performance / growth marketing, ideally in D2C, subscription or health-tech, with a track record of scaling acquisition.
Deep expertise in at least one of Paid Social or Paid Search (SEM), and a strong working understanding of the full digital marketing mix and how the channels fit together.
Commercial ownership. You've owned acquisition budgets and been accountable for a CAC, ROAS or payback target, not just campaign execution.
A strong creative instinct. You can brief, judge and iterate on performance creative (video and static), and you understand what makes an ad work.
Highly analytical. You're fluent in CAC, payback, LTV:CAC and cohort analysis, comfortable self-serving data, and you let the numbers drive decisions and action.
Experimentation rigour. You design clean tests, read results honestly, and don't declare false wins.
High agency and ownership. You're a self-starter who takes the initiative, leads without waiting for permission, and owns the outcome end-to-end.
A strong collaborator and communicator. You can direct a creative pod and get the best from central teams (buying, CRM, analytics) that you don't line-manage.
Ambitious and fast-learning, comfortable in a high-tempo environment and keen to grow with the business.
Nice to have
Startup/Scaleup experience; you operated in fast-scaling D2C environments
Experience in a health-tech, regulated or clinical-adjacent category.
Hands-on experience directing creative teams or a creative production process.
Experience launching a new category or market.
Familiarity with landing-page / CRO experimentation and conversion optimisation.
