Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.84/hr.

Workdays & Hours: Varies. Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, as required. This is a part-time position with no benefits.

A part-time Golf Shop Attendant is available with the City of Fort Worth Park & Recreation at Meadowbrook golf course and Rockwood golf course. The Golf Shop Attendant will perform a range of duties relative to the daily operation of the Golf Shop. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about golf.
The Park and Recreation Department provides a variety of recreational sport programs and facilities year-round for Fort Worth residents of all ages which help relieve stress, enhance physical conditioning and enhance quality of life. Managing three tournament-level golf courses, the Golf division has been perennially recognized as one of the best in the country for its programs and services
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with a practical knowledge of the game of golf
No previous experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Retail and point-of-sale experience.
Knowledge and experience at a public or private golf facility.
The Golf Shop Attendant job responsibilities include:
Answer telephones and scheduling tee times
Cleanup inside and outside the golf shop, stocking merchandise, and golf cart maintenance
Assist with tournaments
Provide assistance to all patrons regarding golf course playing conditions
Maintain daily records of player names and cart numbers
Assist with pricing and displaying merchandise
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Demand
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking and repetitive motions.
Light Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.
