Global Operations Lead
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Harvey grows, we’re taking on increasingly complex, cross-functional programs that cut across teams and require dedicated end-to-end ownership. These range from opening new entities and markets, to M&A and integration work, to evolving the systems and providers that support our employees around the world.
You’ll run point on some of our key operational initiatives: bringing structure to ambiguous problems, building the plan, coordinating work across functions, and driving decisions and execution.
This is a hands-on program management role — you’ll work closely with functional experts, but you’re expected to get into the substance, develop a point of view, and personally step into gaps wherever needed to drive the program forward.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own complex, high-priority programs from initial planning through execution and handoff, including M&A initiatives spanning diligence through integration, geographic expansion and entity formation, and major operational transitions.
- Build and drive the program plan, translating a messy objective into clear requirements, workstreams, owners, dependencies, readiness gates, and decisions; proactively surface risks, resolve blockers, and adjust the plan as facts change.
- Connect the dots across functions. Partner deeply with People, Recruiting, Finance, Legal, Tax, IT, and other teams to understand how decisions in one workstream affect another, identify gaps before they become problems, and make sure the right people are involved at the right moments.
- Build repeatable infrastructure as we scale, turning what we learn from each program into better templates, SOPs, playbooks, and operating processes for the next one.
- Drive critical decisions forward. Develop a point of view, frame tradeoffs, bring the right stakeholders together, and ensure decisions translate into execution.
- Own program communication and change management, from crisp executive updates and decision points to clear, thoughtful communications for employees affected by a change.
- Keep the employee experience at the center. Make sure operational complexity behind the scenes translates into a coordinated, thoughtful experience for employees — particularly during high-change moments like integrating a new team, entering a new market, or transitioning employment infrastructure.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in fast-moving environments, including meaningful experience supporting M&A transactions and integrations across multiple stages of the lifecycle
- A hands-on operating style and strong bias toward action. You dig into the substance, step into gaps, and do what’s needed to keep complex work moving. You’re comfortable figuring things out as you go and have good judgment about what requires deeper diligence versus what simply needs to get done.
- Strong stakeholder management and judgment, with the ability to align specialists and senior leaders across functions without formal authority.
- Clear, direct executive communication. You can distill a complicated program into the decisions, risks, and tradeoffs that matter and communicate them appropriately to everyone from executives to affected employees.
- Strong AI fluency. You use AI as a core part of how you work — to move faster, synthesize information, work through ambiguity, and increase the quality and leverage of your output.
