Financial Analyst II, FP&A
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will be the primary FP&A business partner to the CIO organization, responsible for tracking, forecasting and reporting on key technology metrics and investments across Corporate IT, Business Systems, and Data Analytics functions. You will report to the Manager of FP&A and work closely with CIO leadership and group heads to improve technology financial planning and monthly reporting standards. This role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, is able to communicate clearly with both finance and technology leaders, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities:
Partner with the CIO organization and business leaders across Corporate IT, Business Systems, and Data Analytics to generate technology operations budgets, forecasts and long-range plans including monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles
Track, forecast and report on key technology financial metrics including AI tokenization spend, infrastructure spend, cloud consumption, licensing costs, vendor contracts, and IT operational KPIs
Support monthly close process through close partnership with accounting and operations teams, ensuring accurate tracking of technology/AI investments and spend
Provide insights and commentary on key technology trends, infrastructure investments, cloud migration initiatives, and technology modernization to finance leadership and business stakeholders
Report on actual technology financial results against targets, provide variance analysis, assist in guidance on future trends, and present findings to Finance and CIO leadership
Evaluate and develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic technology decisions, including AI investments, cloud migration, infrastructure investments, and operational efficiency improvements
Challenge assumptions and provide independent financial perspective on technology strategies, infrastructure investments, and digital transformation initiatives
Support LRP and budget planning by translating business requirements and growth targets into technology investment needs and roadmaps
Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives including contract analysis and cost optimization opportunities
WHO YOU ARE
3+years of progressive experience in Finance and FP&A, preferably in Tech
Undergrad degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
An analytical, creative thinker who can focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture
Strong financial modeling skills and a very high level of comfort with Microsoft Excel
Ability to balance multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology and financial concepts for diverse audiences
Understanding of technology infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and enterprise technology investments is a plus
Experience with financial planning and analysis tools such as Pigment or similar platforms is a plus
Familiarity with business intelligence tools, AI and data analytics platforms is a plus
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $61,000 and $96,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $69,000 and $109,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.
