Finance Manager
The Role: How You’ll Make an Impact
Our Finance team is looking for an FP&A Manager to join us in helping people get their best sleep yet. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you’ll serve as a strategic finance partner and analytical engine for our business, owning revenue forecasting, demand planning, and subscription and LTV analytics, and partnering across key functions including Marketing, Retail, Operations, Analytics, and Accounting.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of rigorous financial modeling and cross-functional influence. You’ll be building the analytical frameworks that drive how we invest, operate, and grow—and you’ll bring a point of view to every conversation.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Forecasting & Budgeting
Own the driver-based revenue model end to end, from units and sell-through to registrations, subscriptions and revenue, for monthly pacing and quarterly forecasts
Lead the annual revenue budget and long-range plan, including scenarios that size the revenue and LTV impact of key investments
Run monthly actualization and forecast cycles through our FP&A platform (Datarails), keeping assumptions, scenarios and versions organized and auditable
Support board and investor reporting with revenue, demand and subscription metrics (units by channel, paid subscribers, ARR, attach) and a clear story on performance and outlook
Subscription & LTV Analytics
Model and track attach, conversion and retention, and maintain lifetime value and cohort contribution by product and channel, the lens Marketing uses to optimize acquisition
Partner with Analytics on metric definitions and data quality: pressure test the numbers, reconcile sources, and make sure the revenue model, LTV and our internal and external reporting tell the same story
Be the analytical bridge to Accounting on subscription deferrals and the data behind them
Demand Planning & Pacing
Lead our recurring demand outlook with Marketing, Retail and Operations, and turn the forecast into inventory, purchasing and freight decisions
Forecast retail sell-in and sell-through with our channel team, and track direct, retail and international pacing against plan
Build scenarios on product mix, promotions and supply constraints ahead of launches, promos and freight calls
Strategic Business Partnership
Bring a financial lens to growth, pricing, promotions and investment initiatives, sizing the revenue, margin and LTV impact before we commit
Partner with Operations on demand and supply alignment, and with our retail team on channel performance
Raise risks and opportunities early, with a point of view on what we should do
Process Improvement & Tools
Automate recurring pacing and reporting using SQL, Hex and Datarails, and use AI tools and agents to cut manual effort
Look for places where a process can be simpler, faster or more reliable, and bring them forward
What You’ll Bring
6+ years of experience in FP&A, ideally in a consumer products, DTC and/or subscription business
Experience owning a driver-based revenue or demand forecast end to end, including partnering with operations or inventory planning
Fluency in subscription metrics (cohorts, trial and paid conversion, retention, ARR, LTV), and experience building cohort-based LTV or unit economics models
Advanced Excel modeling skills. SQL and a BI tool such as Hex are a strong plus; experience with an FP&A platform (Datarails, Adaptive, Pigment) or NetSuite is a plus
A clear communicator who leads with the "so what" and turns forecasts and variances into simple, visual takeaways for Marketing, Operations and leadership
Proactive and owner-minded: you raise risks early, follow through, and build structure where it doesn't exist yet
High attention to detail and version discipline across shared models, with the instinct to check the data before trusting it
BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
Bonus points for investment banking experience or hands-on automation with SQL, Python or AI tools.
