POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all facilities.  This individual will perform the work or coordinate any installations or repairs with a contracted company.  The individual will also perform weekly Preventative Maintenance as required and complete all necessary documentation per appropriate AtriCure procedures.  In addition, this person will be responsible for facilities activities such as office moves, company meetings, event set up, etc.  The Facilities Maintenance Technician will also identify and maintain store levels of consumable maintenance items to minimize any disruption.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

Perform Preventative Maintenance procedures and accurately complete paperwork

Maintain all facilities to both internal and external safety procedures and standards

Perform facilities maintenance per request

Identify and maintain store levels of consumable maintenance items

Coordinate and support office moves, reconfigurations, painting, etc.

Support contractors performing tasks within the facilities

Ensure contractors follow safety and cGMP standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma

3 years of experience in a comparable position

Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to prioritize and coordinate maintenance in multiple facilities

Attention to detail and concerned with safety

Appreciation for medical products

Computer/data entry skills

Problem solving skills

Ability to read technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Certified Electrician

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed

Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
