This role focuses on engaging banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and other financial institutions about their data and AI initiatives, helping them develop a more efficient and compliant approach to leveraging our platform DSS. The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for the entire sales cycle, while leveraging various company resources to reach successful collaborations with prospects. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering.

How you'll make an impact:

Educating FSI customers on the value of Dataiku in the context of their specific regulatory, risk, and data challenges

Driving revenue through proactive outreach to existing and prospective financial services customers including banks, insurers, and capital markets firms

Providing tailored recommendations based on a customer's business needs — including fraud detection, risk modelling, regulatory reporting, and customer analytics use cases

Managing multiple FSI accounts simultaneously at various stages of the Dataiku buying cycle

Developing C-Level vision alignment with FSI executives across Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Operations

Navigating complex enterprise sales cycles typical in highly regulated financial institutions

Handling inbound customer communication and escalating issues appropriately, including security, compliance, legal, and technical inquiries

Serving as the voice of the FSI customer and feeding back insights to drive continuous product and go-to-market improvement

Other duties as assigned from time to time

What you'll need to be successful:

5–7 years' experience in enterprise software field sales, with a strong track record selling into Financial Services (banking, insurance, capital markets, or asset management)

Deep understanding of the FSI landscape in Japan — including key players, buying behaviours, and regulatory environment (FSA, Basel, DORA awareness a plus)

Background in selling data, AI, analytics, or related innovation concepts to large financial institutions

Strong ability to develop vision alignment with FSI prospects and customers, building champions across business and technology stakeholders

Good articulation of competitive positioning in the FSI data and AI space

Domain expertise in big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, or data integration — ideally applied to FSI use cases such as credit risk, fraud, AML, or customer intelligence

Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments

Adaptable with a growth mindset and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, innovative company
