Enablement AI Specialist
What You’ll Do
DC Operations field technicians are building practical AI-powered tools to solve real operational problems. More than 13 tools are already deployed and in active use, demonstrating the value these solutions can bring to daily operations. In this role, you will:
Build and support assigned tools, prompts, skills, agents, automations, and workflow solutions that address defined DC Operations needs.
Work with field technicians and managers to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, and translate clearly defined problems into practical solutions.
Maintain the intake and tracking process for new solution ideas, including documenting requests, searching existing resources, and providing status updates.
Review resources across Slack, Glean, Asana, Google Drive, and Canvas before beginning new work to help identify existing solutions and prevent duplication.
Help evaluate opportunities based on operational value, effort, adoption potential, and ongoing support requirements.
Develop, test, document, launch, and maintain assigned solutions with guidance from DC Operations Enablement and relevant subject-matter experts.
Help convert useful field-built tools into documented and supported Canvas assets with clear ownership and maintenance expectations.
Facilitate learning sessions and provide day-to-day support that helps DC Operations employees use approved tools effectively within their workflows.
Answer common questions and resolve routine issues in #talk-to-dc-ops-enablement, directing more complex requests to the appropriate partner.
Support assigned solutions through established IT and security review and vetting processes.
Collect and maintain data on tool usage, adoption, time saved, tool health, and other defined measures of operational impact.
Share field feedback and recommend practical improvements to tools, documentation, training materials, and enablement processes.
About the Role
Today, many field-built tools remain with their original builders, training happens informally, and useful solutions are not always visible or reusable across the broader organization. The DC Operations Enablement team is establishing a more consistent approach to finding, building, documenting, and supporting this work.
As an AI Enablement Specialist, you will help build and support solutions that improve how DC Operations teams work. You will collaborate with field teams to understand operational problems, develop practical tools, and help turn successful field-built solutions into documented and supported resources.
This is an individual contributor role that combines hands-on solution building, workflow coordination, documentation, and user enablement. You will work within established priorities while using your judgment to execute assigned work, support solutions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Who You Are
Experience building or supporting AI-powered tools, workflow solutions, or automations used by others to complete real work.
Experience working in DC Operations or a comparable operational environment, with an understanding of the day-to-day needs of field teams.
Ability to take a clearly defined problem and develop a practical solution, seeking guidance when requirements, risks, or dependencies become more complex.
Experience writing prompts and configuring skills, agents, automations, or similar tools.
Ability to test work, gather feedback, address common issues, and clearly document how a solution should be used and maintained.
Organizational skills to manage multiple assigned tools, requests, and follow-up actions within established priorities.
Foundational program or project management skills, including task tracking, documentation, prioritization, and status reporting.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical employees and help them apply new tools within their daily workflows.
Clear communication and effective collaboration skills, with the judgment to work independently and ask for support when needed.
Ability to work effectively while processes are still developing and adapt as standards, tools, and priorities evolve.
