Director of Product Management (Jopari)
About the Role
The Director of Product Management will support Jopari Solutions’ continued expansion of healthcare technology solutions and services by owning the business and product requirements that shape product strategy, direction, and roadmap execution. This leadership position operates with a high degree of autonomy, making informed product and prioritization decisions within established company strategy, financial objectives, regulatory obligations, and delivery constraints. The Director translates market, customer, operational, and financial insights into a clear portfolio vision and roadmap, owns business outcomes across the product lifecycle, and ensures the Product Management team is aligned, accountable, and equipped to deliver measurable value.
The role serves as a senior product leader across executive management, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Client Services, Customer Care, Sales, Marketing, customers, and strategic partners. The Director is expected to resolve ambiguity, make and communicate tradeoff decisions, escalate material enterprise risks, and create the operating discipline required for consistent portfolio execution.
What You’ll Do
Define and own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for an assigned product portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer needs, market opportunities, regulatory requirements, and long-term growth goals.
Understand product strengths and opportunities by working with clients and stakeholders and communicate and present strategic and tactical roadmap items to stakeholders, clients, and partners.
Exercise autonomous judgment over product direction, scope, and tradeoffs within approved strategy and investment parameters; make timely decisions when inputs are incomplete and document the rationale, expected value, risks, and success measures.
Establish a transparent prioritization and governance process that balances strategic initiatives, customer commitments, compliance obligations, defects, technical sustainability, and operational needs for assigned product portfolio.
Translate company strategy and market intelligence into clear product portfolio objectives, business cases, and product requirements that enable Product Owners, who are responsible for translating those needs into detailed functional requirements, workflows, integrations, data needs, and acceptance criteria, to execute with appropriate context and autonomy.
Maintain clear role separation by focusing on product strategy, customer needs, business priorities, and expected outcomes, while Product Owners partner with Engineering and Architecture on execution details, technical design, and build implementation.
Sponsor process improvements and organizational change that increase decision quality, execution speed, transparency, collaboration, and measurable product value.
Support product lifecycle management from concept through launch, including product marketing, pricing, market positioning, and profitability analysis.
Track project activities, communicate milestones, identify risks, and provide status updates to stakeholders and management using defined processes.
Develop a deep understanding of Jopari’s core solutions and services as they relate to the product line.
Establish product metrics and actionable insights to improve throughput, inform product direction, and support revenue and profitability growth.
Provide guidance and feedback to Product Managers.
