Each year, HomeLight facilitates billions of dollars of residential real estate business on its platform for thousands of agents and loan officers. Our vision is a world where every real estate transaction is simple, certain, and satisfying for all.

Our team breaks barriers every day while staying committed to HomeLight's goals and core values, which is a crucial element to our shared success.

Who You Are

You’re a growth operator who likes to build.

You don't just identify opportunities or create strategies — you turn ideas into working things. Maybe you've built a website or landing experience, created an internal tool, prototyped a product, developed a new workflow, or used AI to build something that previously would have required significantly more time or resources.

You’re deeply curious about what new technology makes possible and constantly experimenting. AI isn't just something you use to write copy or summarize reports — it's expanding what you're personally able to create.

You also understand growth and acquisition, with hands-on experience across paid search and paid social. You know how customers are acquired, how funnels work, and how to use data to diagnose performance across CAC, ROAS, conversion, and other key growth metrics.

Most importantly, you see a problem and want to build the solution.

What You’ll Do

Identify growth opportunities and turn them into experiments, tools, workflows, and customer experiences

Build, test, and optimize acquisition strategies across paid search and paid social, including Google and Meta

Own and improve key growth metrics, including CAC, ROAS, conversion, and funnel performance

Build and test landing experiences, audiences, messaging, creative, and new growth ideas

Use AI and emerging technologies to prototype, automate, and launch ideas faster

Analyze customer and performance data to understand what's working, what's broken, and what to build next

Build systems and workflows that replace manual processes and make the growth organization more effective

Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Creative when needed — while maintaining a bias toward building and testing yourself

One thing worth saying upfront

This role is hands-on. You'll own these channels and are expected to run them well. This isn't a role where you'll manage a large team, oversee a roster of agencies, or spend most of your time in strategy decks. If you’re excited about building things, ownership, and driving results, this role is a great fit. If you're looking to move further away from day-to-day execution, it's probably not the right match.

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of experience in growth, acquisition, performance marketing, advertising, product growth, or a related field

Evidence that you've personally built things — websites, prototypes, products, workflows, internal tools, reporting systems, or other working solutions

Hands-on experience with paid search and paid social, particularly Google Ads and Meta

Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, conversion optimization, funnel performance, and growth measurement

Strong analytical instincts and comfort using data to diagnose problems and make decisions

Demonstrated use of AI to build or create — beyond basic copywriting, research, or reporting

A track record of taking ideas from problem → prototype → test → iteration

Curiosity about emerging technology and a habit of experimenting with new tools

Comfort operating outside your traditional area of expertise and learning quickly

A bias toward direct execution rather than relying entirely on agencies, vendors, or other teams
