ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a Director of Data & Analytics, responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution across Data Analytics and Data Science. Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Data Officer, you'll build and manage a data organization that powers product development, personalization, experimentation, and business intelligence. You’ll have an AI-first mentality in proactively seeking new and innovative ways to embed AI in our data organization.

While this is a remote position, you must be located or willing to relocate to the NYC Metro area to qualify.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Set the vision and strategy for Data Analytics and Data Science

Partner with Data Engineering to modernize our data infrastructure

Own the data platform, including pipelines, warehousing, modeling, governance, observability, and reliability

Be the AI thought leader, finding new and innovative ways to leverage AI to improve the business

Develop predictive and machine learning models that power personalization, fraud detection, forecasting, and user behavior prediction

Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Compliance to drive strategy and decision-making

Create dashboards and analytical tools to empower self-service and automate insights

Create a world-class experimentation program, including statistical rigor, tools, design, and rollout frameworks

Champion data-driven decision-making and raise the data IQ across the company

YOU IDEALLY HAVE:

10+ years of experience across Data Analytics, Data Science, and Data Engineering, with at least 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary data teams.

Proven experience owning and scaling a modern data stack (Snowflake/BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, Fivetran, etc.).

Strong technical proficiency in SQL and Python.

Proficiency in leveraging AI across data verticals and an eagerness to continue to learn more

Experience building and maintaining production-level data pipelines and ML models.

Experience with A/B testing frameworks, causal inference, and experimentation platforms

Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated data concepts into clear, actionable insights.

Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.

IT'S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE:

Background in gaming, lottery, fintech, or other regulated industries

Experience with real-time data architectures (Kafka, Kinesis)

Experience with consumer personalization systems, recommendation models, or lifecycle optimization

Familiarity with MarTech and CDPs (Optimove, Braze, etc)

Expertise in LTV modeling, and fraud/risk models

Experience in high-growth consumer or tech startups

$170,000-$200,000 base salary + bonus + equity
