DevOps Engineer

Nexaminds is looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help drive automation, reliability, and continuous delivery across our cloud-native platforms. In this role, you'll design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure and deployments, and help ensure reliable, scalable, and secure production environments. You'll work closely with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to improve deployment processes, release velocity, observability, and overall operational excellence.

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.

Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and release processes.

Experience with CI/CD and deployment platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or similar tools.

Strong experience with Blue-Green, Canary, and other progressive deployment strategies.

Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.

Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including GKE and related cloud services.

Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

Experience implementing monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident response practices.

Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and production operations.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, QA, Product, and other technical teams.

Strong ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice to Have:

Experience supporting large-scale, high-availability production environments.

Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation.

Experience with security, compliance, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.

Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog.

Exposure to AI-assisted operations, platform engineering, or SRE practices.

Experience improving platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Job Duties:

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

Implement and optimize Blue-Green, Canary, and other progressive delivery strategies to enable safe and reliable releases.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using Infrastructure as Code practices.

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications running on Kubernetes.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services across GCP, with a focus on GKE and cloud-native environments.

Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident response practices across production systems.

Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to improve deployment reliability, release velocity, and operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational processes and reduce manual intervention.

Troubleshoot complex deployment, infrastructure, and production issues and help drive them to resolution.

Contribute to platform scalability, security, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.

Establish and promote DevOps, SRE, GitOps, and infrastructure automation best practices.

Continuously evaluate and improve development, deployment, and operational processes.
