About the role

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Customer Programs Manager to build the operational foundation that allows our customer marketing engine to scale. As our advocacy and co-marketing programs grow across startups, digital-native businesses, and enterprise accounts, we need someone who can turn our scaled co-marketing program into a well-instrumented, repeatable and measurable system. You'll deploy resources and capital to create compelling customer stories across formats, and amplify them across both bespoke partnerships and agency-run campaigns. You’ll also own the broader customer marketing intake process and its tooling, and the system of record for how customers participate across advocacy and co-marketing.

You'll work closely with Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance, and Brand, reconciling co-marketing spend each quarter, briefing agencies on which stories we want to tell, and partnering with Marketing Ops and Data Science to build the measurement framework we use to report back to leadership on impact. You'll help shape how a rapidly growing function operates, at a moment when customer proof is one of the most powerful levers we have for building trust in beneficial AI.

Key responsibilities:

Own the investment behind our customer co-marketing programs, covering allocation tracking, spend pacing, agency coordination, and quarterly budget reconciliation across a rotating cohort of customer accounts

Develop and execute co-marketing plans with participating customers that grow Claude adoption and the customer's own reach, coordinating with Growth Marketing on campaign strategy.

Run the always-on scaled co-marketing motion, co-producing high-quality creative assets with a rotating cohort of customers and deploying agency partners to amplify them as paid campaigns on the customer's own channels

Partner with Customer Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships to decide which customers we work with and build the criteria that keep those decisions consistent

Own the customer marketing intake process and its tooling, keeping it the system of record and building the playbooks that keep it consistent as we scale, partnering with Customer Marketing segment leads who own triage and prioritization for their segments

Define how we measure the impact of our customer marketing investments, working with Marketing Ops and Data Science, and use that measurement to shape investment decisions with leadership

Report back to participating customers on what their participation returned, measured on the outcomes they care about, like reach, engagement, and new customer acquisition

Use Claude as a core part of your operational toolkit — building skills, automating intake and triage, and finding leverage wherever a process can be made faster or smarter for the Customer Marketing team

Minimum qualifications

Managed co-marketing growth or partner investment programs and are comfortable with the reconciliation, forecasting, agency coordination, and stakeholder reporting that comes with it

Managed agencies as a working partner, developing the brief, directing the work, and holding the quality bar on co-branded creative

Built joint marketing plans with partners or customers that served their goals as much as your own

Working knowledge of demand generation and paid social and the ability to optimize campaigns

Experience defining how a program gets measured and proving its impact, both to your own leadership and back to the customer in the terms they care about

Existing fluency with Claude, and the instinct to reach for it to automate, analyze, and scale your own work

Comfort building in a fast-moving environment where the program, the budget, and the priorities are all still taking shape

Preferred qualifications

7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, including at least 3 years in customer marketing. Partner marketing or program management experience is a strong plus.

Experience operating co-marketing or partner marketing programs at a developer-focused or AI/ML company

Background in revenue operations or marketing analytics, and hands-on comfort in Salesforce and BI tooling

Experience proving incremental program impact against a comparison group rather than reporting activity

Experience standing up or owning the tooling behind a marketing program — intake forms, workflow automation, dashboards, or a customer participation database

Comfort working closely with Sales teams and an understanding of how customer marketing supports pipeline and retention
