In this role, you will
- Monitor and manage access control, video surveillance, alarms, and other security technologies.
- Communicate with internal partners using Slack, Jira, and other collaboration tools.
- Identify, assess, and respond to security alerts and incidents; escalate appropriately.
- Support emergency notifications and mass communication systems during critical situations.
- Provide global travel monitoring and situational awareness to help keep employees safe.
- Maintain detailed logs, reports, and documentation of all security events and responses.
- Follow established procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of playbooks and workflows.
- Deliver excellent service and support to employees, visitors, vendors, and partner teams.
- Participate in routine training, drills, and skill development to maintain readiness.
You may be a fit for this role if you have
- 5+ years of experience in GSOC, corporate security, or protective operations, or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Military, law enforcement, or emergency operations center experience may substitute for traditional GSOC experience.
- Hands-on experience with access control and VMS platforms (e.g., Genetec).
- Proficiency with Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, and incident documentation workflows.
- Familiarity with travel risk monitoring tools (e.g., International SOS) is a plus.
- Experience with emergency mass notification systems and/or AI-enabled security tools is helpful.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
- A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to learn, adapt, and follow protocols with precision.
- A collaborative, resilient, and team-oriented approach.
