We believe the best way to show you what our team is like is to treat you like you're already a part of it. We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group—and having fun while doing it.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a Senior Power Platform Engineer Consultant, you will design, build, deploy, and support enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can take a business need from initial discovery through technical design, development, integration, deployment, and ongoing production support with limited guidance.
You will build solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse while integrating the platform with APIs, enterprise data sources, and other technologies. You will also help our client mature how Power Platform solutions are deployed and operated by applying strong application lifecycle management, environment management, monitoring, and support practices. Success requires more than familiarity with Power Platform features—you should be able to explain the architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, troubleshooting approaches, and lifecycle considerations behind the solutions you build.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop production-ready solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio
Build Canvas Apps and other Power Platform solutions that address complex business and operational requirements
Design and implement Power Automate workflows with appropriate branching, data transformation, error handling, retries, monitoring, and recovery
Develop and customize connectors to integrate Power Platform solutions with APIs and enterprise systems
Work directly with REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON payloads, schemas, and OpenAPI/Swagger definitions to develop and troubleshoot integrations
Design authentication, pagination, rate-limit handling, webhook, and error-management approaches for custom integrations
Develop Copilot Studio agents that incorporate enterprise knowledge, topics, actions, flows, and business processes
Design appropriate data architectures using technologies such as Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, APIs, and Azure services
Evaluate technical tradeoffs involving performance, scalability, delegation, maintainability, licensing, reuse, and user experience
Manage solutions across development, test, and production environments
Support application lifecycle management (ALM), including solutions, connection references, environment variables, pipelines, and deployment processes
Troubleshoot applications, integrations, workflows, agents, and production issues through root-cause analysis
Build solutions with monitoring, failure recovery, supportability, and ongoing maintenance in mind
Maintain clear technical documentation so solutions can be effectively supported and enhanced by other engineers
Incorporate appropriate authentication, authorization, least-privilege access, data protection, and governance practices into solution designs
Partner with business, technology, platform, and security stakeholders throughout solution design and delivery
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Operate effectively in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.

Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.
Your experience:
Significant hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions
Demonstrated experience personally building production Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
Strong Power Apps development experience, including Canvas Apps and familiarity with when to use Canvas versus model-driven applications
Advanced Power Automate experience, including complex workflows, data transformation, error handling, retries, and operational monitoring
Hands-on experience building or materially modifying custom connectors
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, request/response payloads, schemas, and API error handling
Experience working with or authoring OpenAPI/Swagger definitions
Ability to troubleshoot API and integration issues without relying entirely on other engineering teams
Experience working with enterprise data sources and technologies such as Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, APIs, and Azure services
Experience managing Power Platform solutions across separate development, testing, and production environments
Understanding of Power Platform ALM practices, including solutions, connection references, environment variables, pipelines, and dependencies
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and support solutions in production
Strong solution design skills with the ability to evaluate architecture choices based on performance, scalability, maintainability, licensing, security, and user experience
Ability to communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred experience:
Hands-on experience developing Copilot Studio agents, including knowledge sources, topics, actions, orchestration, and Power Automate integration
Experience deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving Copilot Studio agents beyond proof-of-concept implementations
Experience connecting AI agents to enterprise systems, data, and business processes
Experience with Azure Functions or other Azure services used to extend Power Platform solutions
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, least privilege, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), service principals, managed identities, and enterprise data boundaries
Experience collaborating with cybersecurity or platform governance teams
Experience establishing reusable Power Platform components, development patterns, or engineering practices
Relevant Microsoft Power Platform certifications
The ideal candidate is viewed as a trusted advisor, not simply an implementer.
You are comfortable leading conversations, making recommendations, and driving progress. You bring a strong point of view, can operate with limited direction, and enjoy helping organizations mature their governance and security capabilities.
You are equally comfortable discussing strategy with stakeholders and building technical solutions that make that strategy real.
