Client Account Manager
Job Title: Client Account Manager
Location: New York, NY, Atlanta, GA, or Remote, USA
Exemption Status: Full-time, exempt
Who We Are
Impiricus is the Agentic Commercialization Platform for Healthcare. We help life sciences teams understand physician intent, coordinate the right clinical and commercial resources, and enable real-time action when HCPs need support. Our AI-powered platform acts as a field force multiplier: extending reach between rep visits, prioritizing the highest-impact path for each physician, and connecting HCPs to coverage, evidence, medical information, patient support, MSLs, field teams, samples, and approved content in the moments that matter.
Founded by a practicing physician and a senior pharmaceutical executive, Impiricus was built to accelerate patient access to life-saving treatments through ethical, physician-first engagement. More than one million opted-in HCPs trust Impiricus as a preferred channel, including many who are underserved or hard to reach through traditional outreach. Products such as the Intelligently Optimized Network (ION), Pulse, Spark, and Ascend work together so every interaction can move from information to action. Guided by our Physician Advisory Board, we keep engagement clinically meaningful, compliant, and grounded in better patient care.
Job Summary:
Impiricus is seeking a dynamic Client Account Manager to be the first dedicated client services hire for DocUpdate, supporting Curated, our physician engagement and matchmaking platform. Curated connects physicians with meaningful non-clinical opportunities, including advisory boards, consulting engagements, market research, expert calls, and other professional collaborations across healthcare.
You will be the primary relationship owner for your accounts and manage the client experience from initial intake through successful delivery, serving as the bridge between our clients and the Curated operations team. Your clients will span legal, AI labs and technology companies, medtech, CROs, biotech, locum tenens and staffing, health systems and IDNs, and other industries outside of pharma. You will also be the day-to-day partner for Impiricus’s client services teams, who bring pharma programs onto Curated; those programs run through Curated independently of Impiricus’s commercial teams.
This is a true ground-floor role. There is no existing playbook for client services within DocUpdate, and you will help write it. We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and commercially curious, who builds trusted relationships easily and is energized by creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist. As Curated scales, so will the team around you, and the people who shape the foundation are the ones we look to as the business grows.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Curated clients across legal, AI and technology, medtech, CRO, locum tenens, health system, and other non-pharma industries, building trusted, long-term relationships.
Partner day to day with Impiricus’s client services teams as they bring pharma programs onto Curated, helping them scope, launch, and deliver with a consistent, high-quality experience.
Guide clients through the full lifecycle of a physician engagement program, from intake and scoping through physician sourcing, scheduling, delivery, and follow-up.
Understand each client’s objectives and ensure projects are delivered with exceptional service and attention to detail.
Proactively communicate project updates, timelines, risks, and next steps while maintaining a high-touch client experience.
Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and expand partnerships over time, from repeat engagements to new use cases.
Program & Project Coordination
Partner closely with internal Curated operations teams to coordinate physician recruitment, scheduling, compensation, and project execution.
Manage multiple concurrent client engagements across different industries while ensuring timelines and deliverables remain on track.
Coordinate cross-functional communication between Operations, Product, Finance, Legal and Compliance, and other internal stakeholders, honoring the separation between Curated’s client work and Impiricus’s commercial teams.
Monitor project health and proactively resolve issues before they impact clients.
Maintain accurate documentation and project information within CRM and project management systems.
Building the Function
Act as the founding member of Curated client services: define how intake, onboarding, communication standards, escalation, and reporting work for external clients and internal partners alike.
Turn what you learn from every engagement into repeatable playbooks, templates, and tooling that let the business scale without losing the high-touch experience.
Be the voice of the client inside the company, bringing insights to Product and Operations that shape the platform and what we offer.
Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to a consistently exceptional customer experience.
Demonstrate leadership potential, with the opportunity to grow into a people leadership role, hiring, developing, and guiding the team as the business scales.
Education & Experience
Required
Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, Customer Success, Strategic Accounts, or a related client-facing role.
Experience within healthcare technology, medtech, digital health, SaaS, marketplaces, or another complex B2B environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously across different industries while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence.
A record of ownership: you have built or improved a process, program, or team function without being asked, and you are comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure.
Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar customer management systems.
Preferred
Experience supporting clients across healthcare, medtech, biotech, AI, legal, staffing, or life sciences organizations.
Familiarity with expert networks, market research, advisory boards, or other physician engagement models.
Experience working with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) or health systems.
Experience collaborating across Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance, or serving internal teams as customers.
Previous experience helping build or scale client-facing processes, or a client services team, within a growing organization.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000.
Where you land within the range will reflect your skills, experience, and location, while keeping team parity in mind and leaving room for future growth.
