THE ROLE

Cashmere Material Quality Lead

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Lead specializing in cashmere and fine fibers. The role is crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards from raw fiber to finished goods, and in aligning quality initiatives with our brand strategy. You will lead a team, manage a testing center, and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to enhance quality practices.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement quality standards across raw fiber, dehaired fiber, yarns, and finished goods.

Establish and manage a testing center, including lab protocols for fiber fineness, length, color consistency, strength, pilling, and dye fastness.

Analyze how each stage of the supply chain impacts final product quality, and design preventive measures.

Build and lead a QA/QC team, providing training and development.

Collaborate closely with sourcing, production, and design teams to align quality with brand strategy.

Partner with suppliers and factories to elevate quality practices and ensure compliance with international standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Textile Engineering, Material Science, or related field.

8+ years of experience in cashmere or fine fiber quality management, covering raw material through finished goods.

Proven track record in establishing quality systems and laboratories.

Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Familiarity with international testing standards (GB, ISO, ASTM).

Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese; ability to work with suppliers in China and Mongolia.

Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

Pay Range

$1—$2 USD
