A family in Parsippany, NJ 07054 is seeking a warm and attentive caregiver to provide non-medical care and companionship for an older adult. This is a smoke-free home with a peaceful, pet-free environment where the family values compassionate care, engaging conversation, and support with daily routines.
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Total Hours: 16 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Family Specifications:
Smoke-free home
No pets in the home
Caregiver Interests: Enjoys cooking, watching movies, playing board games, working on puzzles, and engaging in arts and crafts
Responsibilities:
Assistance with personal hygiene and daily grooming routines
Light mobility and transfer assistance
Medication reminders
Planning and preparation of nutritious meals
Engagement in recreational activities and companionship (puzzles, games, crafts, movies)
Basic household tasks and light tidy-up related to the care recipient
Requirements:
Proven experience in senior care or personal caregiving
Ability to safely assist with light mobility and transfers
Strong meal preparation and cooking skills
Compensation:
$20- $30 per hour
