Marketing at Brex

The Marketing team tells the Brex story, turning product innovation into customer obsession. We develop messaging, shape the brand, and bring our platform to life through thoughtful, compelling content. Our team spans Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing, and works cross-functionally with Brand Design, Product, and Sales to drive growth and build trust.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Lead to set the creative standard and execute integrated campaigns that position Brex as the intelligent finance platform for ambitious companies. In this senior IC role, you will own major campaign launches end-to-end, combining sharp storytelling with strategic media distribution and measurement to elevate brand relevance, build market authority, and deliver commercial impact.

Where you'll work

This role will be based in our San Francisco or New York City office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Responsibilities

Lead Brex’s integrated brand campaign roadmap, owning large-scale brand moments from insights and briefing through creative execution, launch, and post-campaign analysis.

Act as lead creative strategist and narrative architect, translating product capabilities and market trends into clear, distinctive, and memorable campaign themes.

Drive integrated media and channel orchestration, partnering tightly with in-house media planners and external agency partners to build holistic media strategies across Paid Social, OOH, CTV, Digital Video, Sponsorships, and High-Impact Content Partnerships.

Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing (PMM), Growth Marketing, Comms, and Design to ensure brand campaigns align with product launches, build brand authority that accelerates deals, and directly feed down-funnel performance engines.

Establish robust brand measurement frameworks in partnership with data teams, tracking awareness, consideration, share of voice, and long-term brand lift to prove campaign commercial impact.

Build repeatable frameworks, briefing templates, and playbooks that enable the function to execute quickly while maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints.

You might be a fit if you:

Have 7–10+ years of experience leading multi-channel brand campaigns, creative strategy, or integrated marketing, ideally with a background in high-growth tech, SaaS, fintech, or top-tier brand agencies.

Are a creative strategist at heart with exceptional narrative instincts and a proven portfolio of breakthrough campaign work that shifted market perception.

Are deeply media-fluent, possessing a strong pulse on the evolving B2B and modern media landscape (OOH, CTV, podcasts, custom partnerships, paid social) and knowing where high-value audiences spend their time.

Are an expert cross-functional operator who can align cross-departmental partners (PMM, Growth, Comms, Design) around a single creative vision and execution plan.

Have extensive experience managing agency partners and media vendors, knowing how to write sharp briefs, give actionable feedback, and extract the best work from external teams.

Understand the hybrid B2B/B2C audience spectrum, with an intuitive sense of how to craft messages that resonate with both early-stage startup founders and enterprise finance executives.

Are data-informed but taste-driven - you know how to set up brand lift studies and track performance dashboards, but lead with creative judgment and intuition.

Are a builder and self-starter who thrives in high-growth environments, comfortably navigating ambiguity to establish brand marketing standards from scratch.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $155,488-$194,360.  However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
