Full Time Center-Based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist/Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)

Hawthorne, NY

Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm

$21-26/hourly

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors to implement principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.

Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.

Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment.

Use Central Reach platform for data collection and graphing.

Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.

Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

And this background:

Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.

Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.

Critical thinker with a problem-solving mind.

Bilingual is a plus.
