Audit & Inspection Success Partner
Job Summary:
What Makes This Role Different? CCIS believes great salespeople should spend their time selling. That's why CCIS invests significantly in marketing and lead generation to provide our agents with a steady pipeline of inbound opportunities. CCIS has done business with over 75,000+ licensed contractors, many of whom have been with the company for more than 10 years. CCIS is a Sacramento-based licensed construction bond and insurance agency serving more than 75,000 contractors across California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Since 1968, we have specialized in helping contractors navigate their insurance and surety needs, including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and surety bonds.
We combine decades of industry experience with continued investment in technology, automation, and digital tools designed to make insurance easier for our customers and more efficient for our employees.
THE ROLE
The Audit & Inspection Success Partner is a customer-facing commercial insurance role responsible for owning two important parts of the customer lifecycle: premium audits and carrier inspections.
Audits and inspections can be confusing and stressful for contractors. Missing documentation, inaccurate information, or unresolved findings can lead to unexpected premium, policy changes, or coverage issues. Your job is to make the process easier for the customer while keeping deadlines, documentation, carrier requirements, and internal follow-up organized from beginning to end.
This is not a basic processing position. It is an ownership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating with customers, managing detailed workflows, and working across teams to drive matters toward a clear outcome.
This position begins fully onsite in our Sacramento office. Following successful completion of the probationary period, employees are eligible for a hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day per week.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own premium audit and carrier inspection workflows from initial notice through final resolution
Serve as the primary customer contact and clearly explain requirements, deadlines, findings, and next steps
Help customers gather and submit required payroll, financial, subcontractor, photo, safety, and other supporting documentation
Track deadlines and follow up consistently so audits and inspections do not stall or become overdue
Review audit and inspection information for inconsistencies, classification issues, missing information, or other concerns that may affect premium or coverage
Coordinate with carriers, auditors, inspectors, underwriting, Service, Renewals, Accounting, and Management to resolve issues
Assist with disputes, corrections, inspection recommendations, and proof of completed corrective actions when appropriate
Explain final outcomes, including additional premium, return premium, inspection requirements, and underwriting decisions
Maintain accurate customer, policy, activity, and follow-up records within CCIS systems
Identify opportunities for mid-term policy updates when customer operations or exposures have materially changed
Contribute to the continued improvement of audit, inspection, customer experience, and team workflows
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You take ownership instead of waiting for an issue to escalate
