Associate Technician – Substation Design

Join Olsson's Substation and Power Generation team and help design the infrastructure that powers communities. As an Associate Technician, you'll support substation design projects by creating and updating drawings, developing 3D models, and assisting engineers and designers throughout the project lifecycle. What You'll Do

Support substation design using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other design software.

Create and update plan sheets, elevations, sections, and 3D models.

Incorporate redline revisions and project standards into design documents.

Maintain project documentation and prepare drawing packages for project milestones and deliverables.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Adapt to evolving project requirements, client standards, and new technologies.

Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.

Drafting certificate or related technical training preferred.

Basic understanding of Bluebeam or comparable PDF software.

Ability to adapt to changing project needs while maintaining a commitment to quality and excellence.
