What powers it all? Our people are ambitious, collaborative, and constantly evolving.

About the Role

As an associate consultant, you'll support our consultants and lead consultants as they get to the heart of a client's problem. You'll help map how work really happens today, dig into the data to find the root causes behind the symptoms and build the evidence that puts a value on fixing them. From there, you'll help shape solutions across people, processes, experience, technology and data. Our work carries on once the strategy is set. You'll stay involved as it's delivered, working alongside designers and engineers so the change lands with the people who have to work differently.

This role is ideal for someone early in their consulting career. You will likely have a year or two in consulting, analysis or a client-facing role at a technology business, and want to build core consulting skills quickly.

What You'll Do

Research client markets, competitors and technology trends to build the evidence for transformation across different functions (from marketing to finance)

Help shape client strategies and roadmaps by drafting sections and pressure-testing ideas with the wider team

Build the models and data behind business cases, including how value will be measured (e.g. revenue growth, customer lifetime value or internal efficiency)

Help map business capabilities and gather the evidence to grade their maturity

Capture and document business use cases with client teams.

Map how business processes work today and helping redesign them around new use cases

Document organisation structures, roles and skills so the team can spot gaps

Prepare and run parts of information gathering exercises (surveys, interviews and workshops), including capturing and writing up what we learn

Analyse qualitative and quantitative data and turn it into clear insights

Help designers and engineers build prototypes and interactive dashboards, so ideas can be tested early

Produce high-quality deliverables and present sections of them to client teams as your confidence grows

Track adoption and value data once a solution is live, to help the team decide what comes next

Plan tasks to meet project deadlines and flagging risks early

Keep project trackers, actions and status reporting up to date

Learn our reference consulting frameworks (e.g. digital strategy framework, business case framework, reference operating model), applying them on live projects and supporting their evolution

Contribute research and ideas to our thought leadership on digital transformation and AI

What You Bring

A degree or equivalent hands-on experience in consulting, analysis, research or a client-facing role. Graduates with strong internships or placements are welcome to apply

Enjoy making things as well as writing about them, with experience using AI to build a prototype, product or simple tool at work, university or in your own time

Comfortable with ambiguity, able to work at pace and happy to take on different responsibilities as needed

Interested in how businesses work and make money, with a willingness to learn how to quantify problems and identify opportunities

Quick to learn, curious about new tools and already using AI to improve how you work. Keen to explore tools like Claude Code and get hands-on with Git repositories

Genuinely interested in digital and technology, particularly how businesses use web, app, CRM and AI-led customer experience solutions

Comfortable working with data in Excel or similar tools, identifying patterns and drawing out meaningful insights

Able to communicate clearly in writing and in person, making complex ideas easy to understand

Collaborative and proactive, willing to roll up your sleeves, support the team and contribute wherever needed to deliver great work

Careful about accuracy and quality, with an eye for detail in everything you produce

Able to prioritise tasks, manage your time effectively, meet deadlines and ask for support when needed
