As an Associate Director of Primary Therapy for Under 18 programs, you will lead a team of Primary Therapists and assist Compass leadership in all clinical programs, while continuing to participate in active patient care. You will conduct individual sessions with patients that will aim at providing support, collaborating with patients’ outpatient teams, and leading patients through their overall treatment journey, while ensuring the continued quality of our programs. If you are passionate about mentoring clinicians and concurrently being given the opportunity to remain an expert in your clinical skills, you would be a great addition to our team.

What You’ll Do

Work with program leaders to assess overall delivery of primary therapy services to the programs and maintain quality services

Provide supervision and clinical support for Primary Therapists for Under 18 clinical programs

Write and deliver performance reviews for the primary therapy team

Audit charts as appropriate to ensure strong and timely documentation

Collaborate and coordinate with leaders in all clinical programs as well as senior leaders within Compass to ensure quality of programming

Support day to day operations of programming

Lead program initiatives that align with company key initiatives

Provide clinical supervision for staff working towards licensure

Provide individual therapy to a caseload of patients including but not limited to creating and updating treatment plans, charting in our electronic medical records system, and coordinating care with patient’s outside providers to ensure continuity of care

Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as other evidenced-based therapies

Respond to clinical crises and support escalation and consultation processes as needed.

Participate in professional development activities

Communicate with patients’ family members or support system, as needed

Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure continuity of care

As indicated, participate in community outreach

Advertise, interview, hire staff, and onboard as needed

Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members via rounds, EMR notes, emails, and face-to-face communication

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are

Master’s level clinician with 4+ years of post-master’s clinical experience conducting individual, family, and/or group therapy.

Clinical license required: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD

Internal applicants must have experience successfully implementing organizational initiatives including Optimal Outcomes and Access to Care.

Internal applicants must be Senior-level or above

Knowledge and Experience utilizing evidenced-based treatment focusing on CBT, DBT and ACT. As well as other modalities, ERP and motivational interviewing.

Clinical experience conducting individual and family therapy at PHP/IOP level of care preferred

The ability to manage administrative duties while balancing clinical demands

Organizational skills and timeliness of projects and documentation

Strength in collaborating and consulting with various programs and their differing needs

Strong communication skills

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.

This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus which is dependent upon individual and company performance.

Compensation

$78,000—$95,000 USD
