Technical Accounting, Audit & Compliance:

Research, assess, and document technical accounting matters and support accounting for complex and non-routine transactions, including equity-based compensation, acquisitions, and ASC 606.

Lead and coordinate statutory and annual financial audits, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders.

Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.

Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and investor reporting requirements.

Systems & Process Improvement:

Play a key role in the implementation of a new ERP, including General Ledger design, accounting requirements, testing, and implementation.

Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Document key accounting processes and controls and establish sustainable operating practices.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership:

Lead, manage, and develop Senior Accountants and mentor other members of the accounting team through clear priorities, coaching, feedback, and professional development.

Build strong relationships with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and other cross-functional partners.

Serve as the accounting liaison with Operations and Treasury-related stakeholders, including oversight of cash accounts and international holdings.

Partner with the Controller and CFO on financial analysis, special projects, and other strategic initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in general accounting and financial reporting.

Public accounting experience, preferably with experience transitioning into a corporate accounting environment.

Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with GAAP, consolidation, and complex accounting matters.

Experience leading or significantly contributing to ERP implementations, accounting systems, or process improvement initiatives.

People leadership: Experience managing, coaching, and developing accounting professionals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand both the details and the broader business context.

Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
