Job Summary

Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Maintenance Technician for our apartment community in New Kensington, PA. Must be willing to be on-call; mileage will be reimbursed. Our goal is to improve the lives of our residents and enhance the communities we serve.

Craigdell Gardens - Craigdell Road

In addition to your core responsibilities in New Kensington, you'll have the opportunity to lend your skills to our other locations, ensuring our standards of excellence are met across the WPA region.

Pay and Benefits

$24-27 per hour

Mileage reimbursement for travel throughout the workday

Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

Turnovers/make-readies

Repairs such as drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or HVAC

Preventative maintenance

Handle emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance

Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Requirements

Eligible to work in the United States

Available for on-call rotation

Valid driver’s license

Personal, insured mode of transportation

Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance

Safely utilize power tools

Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
