AI Program Manager
Overview:
The AI Program Manager drives delivery and adoption of Precisely’s AI-enabled PMO tool across Professional Services, bridging emerging AI capabilities with the program and project management that runs billable delivery. This is a billable, client-facing role: alongside owning the internal program end to end, the AI Program Manager leads client engagements, carries a target utilization rate, and translates complex AI concepts into decision-ready plans for both internal stakeholders and clients.
What you will do:
Own the AI-enabled PMO program end to end — from use-case intake through rollout and adoption.
Identify high-impact AI use cases across PS workflows and build the ROI case (hours saved, margin).
Deliver billable client engagements, applying AI-enabled PMO capabilities in the field.
Lead AI enablement and training for Professional Services, PMO and OPS.
Govern AI outputs , standards, evaluation, and reconciliation before rollout.
Run program cadence: backlog, stakeholder alignment, status, and reporting.
What we are looking for:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree (business or technical). Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.
6–8+ years in program/project management (PMP), leading cross-functional programs end to end.
Client-facing delivery in a professional services / consulting environment, comfortable carrying a utilization/billable target.
Stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences, up to executive level.
Agile and traditional delivery fluency (Scrum/Kanban, waterfall/hybrid) with PM tooling (MS Project, Wrike, ClickUp, Monday, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Strong KPI/ROI and metrics discipline — able to define, measure, and report program value.
Working understanding of AI/GenAI, with excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills; PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification a plus.
Travel is required: Yes – Approximately 20%
AI Skills/Knowledge: Precisely is an AI-first organization. All employees apply AI tools daily to accelerate work, improve output quality, and eliminate low-value tasks. Be fluent with generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude), able to critically evaluate their outputs, and quick to adopt new capabilities as they emerge.
AI/GenAI fluency — practical grasp of LLMs, AI agents, and AI-enabled PMO/automation tools, including where AI fails.
Prompt engineering — structured prompts that generate plans, documentation, analysis, and decision materials.
Data literacy — what data exists, how AI uses it, and the data-quality, privacy, and security implications.
Responsible AI — working knowledge of AI ethics, bias, governance, and emerging regulation.
AI across the delivery lifecycle — planning, risk, status, reporting, and knowledge capture.
Change management & AI adoption — moving teams from pilot to scaled adoption.
Preferred Skills (a plus but not required):
AI/GenAI certification (PMI GenAI for PMs, applied-AI, or responsible-AI credential).
Prior experience standing up an internal AI/automation program or PMO transformation and measuring its ROI.
Background in data management, data integrity, or analytics delivery (aligned with Precisely’s portfolio).
Familiarity with AI agents / agentic workflows and AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF).
Consulting experience translating AI strategy into client-facing roadmaps.
