We are seeking a Chemist with 3–5 years of hands-on laboratory experience to support pharmaceutical drug-container interaction studies, analytical method development, and measurement science activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wet chemistry, laboratory testing, experimental design, and data analysis within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related regulated environment.

This role will focus on evaluating drug-container interactions, supporting molecule characterization, and performing specialized laboratory measurements. Experience with pharmaceutical packaging materials, container closure systems, or packaging engineering is highly desirable.

Chemist Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory studies evaluating drug-container interactions, with an emphasis on Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) surface adsorption.

Support analytical method development and testing activities related to Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT).

Perform wet chemistry experiments, sample preparation, analytical testing, and laboratory investigations.

Conduct Interfacial Tension (IFT) measurements to evaluate material and formulation interactions.

Perform Break Loose Glide Force (BLGF) testing to assess syringe and container system performance.

Support pharmaceutical molecule characterization and container closure compatibility studies.

Develop, execute, and document laboratory protocols, experiments, and technical reports.

Analyze, integrate, and interpret experimental data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support technical recommendations.

Prepare and deliver clear technical presentations summarizing laboratory results and study findings.

Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to support pharmaceutical development and packaging-related initiatives.

Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

3–5 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.

Strong foundation in chemistry with demonstrated practical experience performing wet chemistry techniques and laboratory testing.

Experience with analytical testing, experimental design, sample preparation, and laboratory instrumentation.

Ability to independently execute laboratory experiments, troubleshoot testing challenges, and interpret results.

Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, integration, interpretation, and technical documentation.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex scientific findings.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple laboratory priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with pharmaceutical packaging, container closure systems, or packaging engineering.

Knowledge of Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs), surface adsorption, or drug-container interactions.

Familiarity with Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) or related analytical method development.

Experience performing Interfacial Tension (IFT) measurements.

Experience with Break Loose Glide Force (BLGF) testing or syringe performance characterization.

Familiarity with pharmaceutical formulation development, material compatibility, or surface characterization.

Experience working in a GMP or regulated pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
