Work Style & Culture Fit
As a Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) at Scout, you’ll be the first point of contact for pet families seeking urgent care. You’ll play a critical role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and empathetic experience—whether in person, over the phone, or online. Your work helps set the tone for the entire visit and ensures smooth coordination between clients and the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries
Communicate clearly about wait times, services, and costs
Handle payments and maintain accurate financial records
Support digital record keeping and client communications
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Maintain a clean and organized front desk, lobby area, and exam rooms.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Comfort with fast-paced, emotionally sensitive environments
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling systems
Preferred:
Experience in veterinary urgent care or emergency settings
Familiarity with veterinary software and digital platforms
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
