User Experience Researcher
Build a system to conduct and evangelise User research at high frequency.
Independently plan and execute generative and evaluative research, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual inquiries, diary studies, concept testing, and journey mapping.
Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure research insights inform product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and design decisions.
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, behaviors, pain points, and opportunities.
Create clear research outputs such as insight reports, personas, journey maps, opportunity frameworks, and product recommendations.
Present findings to stakeholders and leadership through compelling storytelling and actionable recommendations.
Mentor junior researchers and help strengthen user-centered thinking across the organization.
Improve research operations, including templates, repositories, processes, tools, and best practices.
Advocate for inclusive, accessible, and evidence-based product experiences.
What We're Looking For:
6 years+ of hands-on experience independently planning and executing UX research.
Strong experience with both generative and evaluative research methods.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Design, Sociology, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency with research and analysis tools such as UserTesting, Qualtrics, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Maze, Lookback, Miro, Figma, Axure, or similar.
Strong ability to synthesize complex findings into practical product and design recommendations.
Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to articulate the user and business impact of research-driven decisions.
Experience working in cross-functional product teams in fast-paced or agile environments.
Portfolio or case studies demonstrating research impact on product strategy, design, or business outcomes.
Good to Have:
Experience with B2C products, AI-powered products, consumer applications, marketplaces, or similar digital products.
Experience building or scaling research operations.
Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, or behavioral data.
Experience conducting accessibility or inclusive design research.
