Key Responsibilities:

Support the full surgical experience: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care

Prepare instruments, equipment, and the operating room for procedures

Assist the physician during procedures as needed

Verify correct patient, procedure, and surgical site in the OR

Ensure all medications and solutions (including tumescent) are clearly and properly labeled

Maintain a sterile environment and clean/disinfect surgical instruments and rooms

Educate patients and caregivers on procedures, medications, and discharge instructions

Support patient discharge and return post-op calls

Schedule follow-up appointments and audit patient records

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and instrument trays

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and labeling standards

Proficient in written and verbal communication, including basic report writing

Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel

Able to interpret written, diagram, and verbal instructions

Basic math proficiency

Experience in patient care and working with physicians and caregivers

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Regular use of computer, phone, and other office equipment

Lift and move up to 25 lbs. as needed

Good vision and hearing to interact safely and effectively in a surgical setting
