SGRE Certified Travel Wind Technician
Pearce is seeking a Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician, with a commitment to excellence, strong desire to succeed and learn new skills utilizing established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a SGRE Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician you are expected to be able to perform maintenance, minor to medium repairs (non-crane related), design modifications/retrofits and special projects, all following procedures. Must maintain certifications in all areas required by position. The position is 100% travel.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.
Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.
Core Experience
SGRE qualified training profile.
SGTT trained.
SGRE Maintenance Technician.
GWO certified preferred.
Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle.
Work meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules.
Physical/Work Environment
At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA/DOT Standards.
Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet.
Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance.
Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds).
Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
