Title: Senior Software Engineer, SIM Key Auth & Trust Team

Department: Technology

Reports To: Senior Manager, Engineering

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: US Remote

Job Summary:

The SIM Key Auth & Trust Team at Prove is responsible for designing and developing the authentication and trust products that integrate with Mobile Network Operators. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will use cutting edge technology to deliver strategic software solutions as part of a scalable platform and mobile development frameworks. This is a hands-on, impactful role where you will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and other senior engineers to deliver solutions that will delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Write well-designed, efficient code across iOS, Android, and Web platforms, and perform code reviews.

Own delivery of software features from Product to Production.

Partner with Product, IT and Operations to define technical requirements, develop project roadmaps, and ensure timely, efficient delivery.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer-reported issues and technical challenges through creative problem-solving.

Lead projects and mentor engineers.

Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of full stack software development experience.

Deep understanding of object-oriented programming with proficiency in at least two of the three dominant technologies in our tech stack:

Kotlin/Java

Javascript/Typescript

Swift/ObjC

Experience in shipping mobile technologies such as iOS/Android and in Web development

Proven professional experience working with a modern client-side stack, including HTML5, CSS3, and core JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building and shipping lower level client-side frameworks and SDKs

Experience with AWS, Firebase, or other public cloud services.

Bachelor’s in computer science or other quantitative fields or relevant experience.

Prior technical leadership experience.

Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.

Experience in high growth /pre-IPO Technology companies is a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this role is

Metro 2: $190,000 - 210,000

Metro 3: $170,000 - 190,000

Plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
