The Opportunity

The Family Office Advisory Senior Associate is a critical member of the relationship management team responsible for coordinating complex family office operations and driving the implementation of sophisticated planning strategies for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. This role partners closely with clients, internal teams, and external advisors to deliver exceptional service and seamless execution across all aspects of family office management.

This role sits within Investment Management, which strives to deliver exceptional investment portfolios by harnessing the differentiated capital and strategic strength of the ICONIQ community.

What You'll Do

Partner with Relationship Managers to support complex family office client relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day client needs.

Lead the coordination and implementation of trust and estate planning strategies, including entity structuring, gifting programs, trust funding, wealth transfer planning, and philanthropic initiatives.

Oversee family office operations including investment administration, banking and liquidity management, bill pay, insurance administration, and other client services with a focus on operational excellence.

Translate client goals into actionable plans by coordinating across internal teams and external advisors to deliver tailored solutions.

Build deep knowledge of clients' objectives and preferences to provide thoughtful, personalized service and advocacy.

Mentor Client Analysts and Senior Client Analysts while contributing to the development of the broader Family Office Advisory team.

Serve as a collaborative leader who strengthens cross-functional partnerships and contributes to firmwide initiatives and culture.

Ideal Candidate Background

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in family office, wealth management, or other roles supporting high net worth and ultra-high net worth families.

Experience managing complex client relationships while coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of trust and estate planning and/or personal tax planning, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to clients.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external advisors to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Experience with Fidelity Wealthscape and Salesforce is a plus.

Compensation Range

ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $170,000 - $180,000  together with the benefits listed above.
